Tom's Wednesday Leadership Thought- The Law of Explosive Growth

Wednesday October 21 We all want to see growth in the area where we work. How did God set up the church to experience growth, especially in the leadership of the church? I believe Ephesians 4:11 -12 can help answer that question. https://youtu.be/C2iZ1NT6Ijc

The Law of Connection Sometimes, as a leader, we begin to have an ego and we think of ourselves as more important than we should. That issue of pride comes in. As leaders we need to be approachable and be able to connect with those we are leading. https://youtu.be/m5xINtHpG3c

Wednesday's Leadership Thought- The Law of Empowerment- Sept. 30

Wednesday Sept. 30, 2020   Henry Ford’s vision was to get cars into the people’s hands by having it available to the average American worker.  He was extremely successful.  However, there is a story that Maxwell tells when workers surprised Ford by making some modifications on his Model T car.  The story is told that Ford saw the car, ripped the doors off the hinges and destroyed the entire car with his bare hands.   He didn’t want anyone modifying his car. What can we learn from this story about Henry Ford and the Law of Empowerment? Click below for the you tube video link: https://youtu.be/2FAq92gSi4w

Wednesday's Leadership thought- The Law of Priority

Image
Wednesday Sept. 16, 2020- Law of Priority As a leader, we want to keep moving and keep busy, but sometimes, we need to slow down and say no to the good to say yes to the great. That is where the law of priority challenges us. Maxwell says…. “When we are busy, we naturally believe that we are achieving. But busyness does not equal productivity.” (pg. 207) How can we practice the law of priority in our lives as a leader in the church? https://youtu.be/QY-PexNH5WA
